Terms of Service.

1. About these terms

Ipon is operated by Remzon Bret Constantino, Philippines ("Ipon," "we," or "us"). These terms cover the Ipon website and related budget-tracking services. Contact the operator at support@iponapp.com. Please read these terms before creating an account or purchasing a subscription. If you do not agree, do not sign up for or purchase the service.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Accepting these terms is not permission to send your financial information to an AI provider; that requires a separate choice.

2. Apple’s standard app license

For the iOS app distributed through the App Store, the software license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These website and service terms supplement that license; they are not a replacement custom EULA. If there is a conflict about the app license, Apple’s Standard EULA controls. Applicable Apple purchase terms and your mandatory consumer rights also continue to apply.

Ipon, not Apple, provides the Ipon service and its customer support. Contact us for app issues; contact Apple for help with your Apple Account or App Store billing.

3. Your account and information

Use an email address you control and protect your sign-in details. You must have the legal capacity to enter into these terms and satisfy any eligibility rules for a feature you use. Notify us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

You remain responsible for your entries, imported documents, and exported backups. Only upload information you have the right to use, including any information about another person. You keep ownership of your records; you authorize us to process them only as needed to provide the features you choose, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

4. A tracker, not a bank

Ipon helps organize information you enter. It does not connect to your bank, hold or transfer money, pay bills, or provide investment, tax, credit, or other professional financial advice.

Check your entries, calculated balances, exchange rates, and reminders against your bank or biller’s records. A reminder or automatically created bill is not a payment. You remain responsible for payments and deadlines.

5. Pro subscriptions and billing

When App Store subscriptions become available, the purchase screen will show the plan’s name, included features, duration, full price, renewal terms, and any trial before you confirm. No price or trial is promised on this pre-launch website. Payment is handled through your Apple Account.

An auto-renewing subscription continues until canceled. Renewal charges follow the price and schedule shown by Apple. Any price change will be communicated and consent obtained where required by Apple’s rules and applicable law.

Manage or cancel through iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ipon. Cancel before the next renewal; for a free or discounted trial, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before it ends. The subscription screen shows when access ends. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.

Deleting the app or your Ipon account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancellation and account deletion are separate. You can request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service; eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law. These terms do not limit any statutory refund rights.

6. Optional AI and usage limits

Ask Ipon, Photo scan, Paste text, and smarter Fill are optional AI features included with Ipon Pro, using Google Gemini through Ipon’s server. Ipon does not charge extra per use. Each Ask Ipon question, photo scan, paste read, or smarter Fill counts as one use:

• Pro: 40 uses a month, up to 5 a day.
• Pro+: 100 uses a month, up to 12 a day.

Monthly uses reset on the 1st of each calendar month and daily uses at midnight, Philippine time. Unused uses do not carry over. AI can also pause until the next month if your account reaches a fixed monthly AI cost limit that keeps the service sustainable; the app shows when uses reset. Do not bypass usage limits, automate requests, or resell access.

AI is optional. Before a request shares personal information, the app names the provider and the information involved and asks for your permission once. You can turn it off any time in Settings → Privacy & data → Ask Ipon permission and use manual entry or the basic Fill instead. Ask Ipon answers only questions about Ipon and your own records. An AI answer or extracted amount may be incomplete or wrong; check it before saving or relying on it.

Gemini-powered AI is for adults aged 18 or older and must meet Google’s service eligibility requirements. The Privacy Policy explains what is sent to Google and how to turn it off.

7. Responsible use

Do not use Ipon for unlawful activity, interfere with its operation, attempt to access another person’s records, submit malicious files, or circumvent security or subscription controls. Restrictions on software use are subject to the Standard EULA, applicable law, and any relevant open-source licenses.

8. Deletion and ending access

You can stop using Ipon at any time. The app’s account deletion option is Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Export a backup first if you need one. See retention and deletion details for the scope of deletion and provider-managed copies.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to contact us. If paid service is materially affected, applicable Apple and consumer remedies remain available. Contact support@iponapp.com if you need help accessing or exporting your records.

9. Availability and your rights

Internet-dependent features can be interrupted, and software can contain errors. Keep a backup of important records. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or error-free financial calculations. App-license warranties and liability are addressed by the Standard EULA.

Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or takes away protections you have under applicable consumer or privacy law.

10. Updates and contact

We may revise these terms as the service develops. We will update the effective date and provide appropriate notice of material changes; where consent is required, we will ask for it. A new version does not retroactively remove rights you already have.
